Chimney Sweeping
Full soot and creosote removal from the firebox through the flue, under containment with a HEPA vacuum — nothing lands on your floors or furniture.
Sacramento & surrounding area
Professional chimney cleaning for residential properties — reliable service, quality workmanship, and no soot left behind.
What we do
Our core service is a thorough sweep. When a chimney needs more than that, we handle the maintenance and repairs ourselves — no second contractor.
Full soot and creosote removal from the firebox through the flue, under containment with a HEPA vacuum — nothing lands on your floors or furniture.
A close look at the firebox, damper, liner, crown and cap — before burning season, before a home sale, or after any chimney event.
Crown repair, mortar and tuckpointing, cracked flue tiles, leaking flashing — keeping older Sacramento brickwork solid and dry.
Stainless caps, spark arrestors and top-sealing dampers — the simplest way to keep out rain, birds, squirrels and cold drafts.
Crown sealing, breathable masonry waterproofing, and stainless liner installation when an old clay liner is past saving.
Lint buildup is one of the most common causes of house fires. If we're already on site, it's a short add-on to the same visit.

Good to know
Industry guidance (NFPA 211) calls for an inspection once a year, with sweeping as needed. For a fireplace that gets regular winter use, that usually means a sweep every year — creosote builds up faster than most people expect.
No. We lay drop cloths before anything opens, seal the fireplace face, and work under a HEPA vacuum the entire time. When we leave, the room looks the way it did when we arrived.
A standard sweep usually takes about an hour, sometimes a little more if the buildup is heavy or the flue is tall. Repairs are quoted separately with their own time estimate.
Spring through early fall. You'll get more flexible scheduling than in the October rush, and the fireplace is ready the first cold evening you want it.
Yes — both wood-burning and gas fireplaces. Gas units still need periodic checks: venting, connections, and the condition of the chimney they share.
Smoke drifting into the room, a strong campfire smell, poor draft, soot or black flakes falling into the firebox, or visible buildup on the flue walls. Any of these is a good reason to call.
